Oil massage (also called Swedish or classical massage) uses five styles of long, flowing strokes to massage. The five basic strokes are effleurage (sliding or gliding), petrissage (kneading),tapotement (rhythmic tapping), friction (cross fiber) and vibration/shaking.
This kind of massage has shown to be helpful in reducing pain, joint stiffness, and most of all: it is very relaxing.
We use home made essential massage oil.
The massage includes a complementary facial mask of fresh cucumber.
Cucumber masks hydrates, softens, soothes, cleanses, reduces swelling and is a blessing for oily or sunburned sking. Its cooling effect is great for treating any irritation of skin.
